What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Local Growth Insights ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website (localgrowthinsights.com), our products, or our services. We've written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@localgrowthinsights.com.
What information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Order information: When you purchase an audit or service, we collect your name, email, practice name, city, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers).
- Contact form submissions: When you fill out our contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message contents).
- Free grade tool: When you use our free grade tool, we collect the practice name and city you enter. We do not require an email and we do not store your queries.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) — kept for 30 days for security purposes
- Privacy-friendly analytics via Plausible.io — no cookies, no personal identifiers
What we don't collect
- We don't use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any cross-site tracking
- We don't sell or share your information with advertisers
- We don't track you across other websites
How we use your information
- To deliver the audits, reports, and services you've purchased
- To communicate with you about your order or inquiry
- To send you the case study materials you specifically requested
- To improve our service quality (in aggregate, never tied to individuals)
Public data about your practice
To produce our reports, we analyze publicly-available information about your dental practice — your Google Business Profile, your competitors' profiles, and Google Maps search results. This information is already public. We don't access any private accounts, login-protected data, or proprietary information.
How we protect your information
- All data transmitted to/from our site uses HTTPS encryption
- Payment information is processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant) and never touches our servers
- Customer data is stored in encrypted databases with access limited to team members who need it for service delivery
- We retain order and contact information for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance, then permanently delete it
Your rights
You can request the following at any time by emailing hello@localgrowthinsights.com:
- Access: Get a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction: Update any information we have on file
- Deletion: Have your data permanently removed (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out: Stop all non-essential communications from us
We respond to all such requests within 30 days, usually within 5 business days.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses, not individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date and notify customers via email. The policy in effect at the time you provide information governs how we may use it.
